Personal:            
Although I am happy to be a Hoosier now and have loved living in Zionsville, IN since 1990, I was actually born and raised in southern California.  I grew up in La Jolla.  I am married and have one son who just graduated from Princeton University.  We have 2 big, beautiful Gordon Setters.

Education:
B.A. from the University of California at Davis.  Double major in Studio Art and Art History.  There I was greatly influenced by the instruction of Wayne Thiebaud, Manuel Neri and Roland C. Petersen.

Studied Art History at the University of Bergen in Norway.
Studied Drawing at the Kunsthandverkskolen of Bergen, Norway.

Commercial Art certificate program at the University of California at San Diego.

Private ceramics study in both California and Indiana.  Various instructors including Cara Moczygemba, Soyong Kang Partington and Tim Ryan
